Sarah Hanffou, Ping Sans Frontieres foundor and table tennis olympian from team Cameroon
TAKO by PSF is powered by Ping Sans Frontieres, a french NGO created by Sarah Hanffou in 2006 that uses table tennis as an educational tool and redistribute sports equipment over the world.
During her sports career, Sarah won many medals in both the youth and senior categories. In 2006 and 2007, she became vice-champion of France in doubles with Xian Yifang. In 2007, after three years at the National Sport Institute based in Paris, Sarah decided to stop the competition to devote herself to her law studies. She resumed international competition in 2010 under the colors of Cameroon and won the African Championships, held in Yaoundé that year. Sarah participated in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and in the 2021 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. After completing a master degree, she became an officer in the French army. At the same time, she followed her doctoral studies in public law and published her thesis on the African Court of Human Rights in 2017.

Ishmael Armah, head of TAKO ghana and physical educator and basic school teacher in Takoradi
In addition to being the head of TAKO in Ghana and the country representative for Ping Sans Frontieres, Ishmael is also a physical educator and a basic school teacher in Takoradi.
« I am the founder of NK Foundation, a registered NGO in Ghana that uses table tennis as a tool to engage school children as they learn through play. Equipments (tables, balls, bats etc) and logistics are provided by Ping Sans Frontieres and NK Foundation in partnership with Asoba Foundation that is currently running Edudrive TT program in selected schools in Ghana. »
Ishmael is working every day in favor of the development of table tennis in Africa.
« My plans are to role out table tennis programs in Ghana through schools and communities to foster development as they are anchored in the values of TAKO and Ping Sans Frontieres. »
